Avalon Cafe occupies an 1847 antebellum mansion called "White Lace" on a hilltop in historic Weston, and has anchored Main Street for over three decades. Chef-owner David Scott turns out American bistro fare—think beef tenderloin with bourbon-mushroom sauce, New Zealand green mussels, and cinnamon bread pudding—best enjoyed from the covered patio overlooking downtown when weather allows.
