Branding Iron BBQ has been smoking meat in Cass County since 1991, and now Richard and Amber carry on founder Sherry Keegan's three-decade legacy. The beef burnt ends are the real draw—they practically melt—but the rotating weekday specials keep regulars coming back: Texas Tators on Tuesday, catfish on Wednesday, burnt-end tacos Thursday, and a prime rib sandwich Saturday. Family-friendly and relaxed, this is the kind of place where the owner stops by your table and the staff actually knows what's good.
