About

Torreon has been a fixture in Overland Park since 1960, when Gus and Betty Ibarra opened the doors to introduce Mexican food to the city—and it stuck. Now run by their daughter Denice and her son Brice, the restaurant still operates with the family touch it's always had, serving everything from gorditas and traditional tamales to their famous Fish Bowl margaritas. The patio and inside dining both welcome families, and the complimentary chip basket with every meal is a nice touch that's stuck around for decades.
